Dr. Maya Marinova

She completed her secondary education at the Natural and Mathematical High School - Smolyan. After that, she studied Veterinary Medicine at Thrace University - Stara Zagora, completing her studies in 2021.

From a young age, she knew that medicine would be a part of her life, and when the time came to choose her profession, she decided to help the most defenseless and those who deserve help from humanity - namely the four-legged. During her studies at the university, she attended several conferences and seminars related to veterinary medicine, one of which was at the Veterinary University in Istanbul.

She started her practice with large farm animals in the Rhodope Mountains. And from the beginning of 2022 and with the opening of our new clinic, Dr. Marinova becomes part of our team and starts working with small pets. Working in a clinic satisfies her because of the dynamism, the variety of animal species as well as the gratitude of the patients, expressed in happily wagging tails.

She has interests in internal medicine, infectious diseases, dermatology and exotic animals. She likes communication with four-legged animals, as well as with their owners, speaks English fluently. She strives for development and improvement with each passing day, that is why she participates in practical and online seminars, one of which at the University of Lincoln.

In her spare time she likes to be in the mountains or travel.

There is a Persian cat named Bambi.
